Nearly two decades after the original Camp Rock movie propelled Demi Lovato into a world of Disney Channel fame and teen stardom, the actor-turned-musician has returned to her roots. In more ways than one.
Showing up to the Los Angeles premiere of Camp Rock 3, Lovato wore a bronze ’90s Dolce & Gabbana midi dress, crafted from shiny silk with a halter neckline and lace-up bodice. The skintight piece reached her calves, and she wore it with a pair of matching pointed-toe pumps.
For jewelry, the franchise’s lead—who returned as an executive producer for the new film—wore twisted diamond earrings from Spectrum Jewels, a white-gold A.Jaffe diamond tennis bracelet, and a coordinating diamond ring by L’Dezen. And as if the event itself didn’t stir up enough nostalgia, she revived her 2010s side part for the occasion, sending a sweet nod to her look from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
Plus, the star celebrated the premiere alongside the Jonas Brothers, who all coordinated in Giorgio Armani looks that perfectly referenced their OG premiere fits from 2008.
Out at the end of the week, Camp Rock 3 will follow the Jonas Brothers’ on-screen band, Connect 3, as they return to their childhood camp to search for an opening act for their reunion tour. With a cameo from Lovato as Mitchie Torres and a whole new cohort of campers, the film will follow both the 2008 movie and its 2010 sequel. It will premiere on Disney Channel on Thursday, before being available to stream on Disney+ on Friday.
