Digital Infrastructure Ireland, the industry group for the digital infrastructure and data centre sector, has appointed four new board members as it seeks to strengthen its leadership and industry representation.

Rhonda Doyle, country president and managing director of Schneider Electric Ireland; Peter Landry, managing director of Equinix Ireland; Greg Hayden, CEO of Ethos Engineering; and Mark Flanagan, executive director of Kirby Group Engineering have all joined the Digital Infrastructure Ireland board.

The appointments follow the announcement of Ronan Kelly as the body’s incoming CEO. He is set to commence work in July.

Digital Infrastructure Ireland said its strengthened board reflects its commitment to building a more structured, delivery-focused organisation capable of supporting the sector at a crucial time for Ireland’s digital economy.

“We are delighted to welcome Rhonda, Peter, Greg and Mark to the Board of Digital Infrastructure Ireland,” said Maurice Mortell, chair of Digital Infrastructure Ireland.

“Each brings exceptional industry experience, leadership and expertise from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, which strengthen DII as we continue to grow our organisation.

“The sector is entering a critically important phase, with increasing recognition of the strategic role digital infrastructure plays in Ireland’s economy, competitiveness and future AI ambitions.

“Ireland has a renewed opportunity to maintain its position as a leading destination for digital investment, and DII is committed to ensuring the industry plays a central role in shaping that future.”

The board appointments further strengthen Digital Infrastructure Ireland representation across the energy, engineering, construction, operations and digital infrastructure sectors.

They are intended to bring together expertise from organisations at the forefront of delivering critical infrastructure projects both in Ireland and internationally.

Doyle, Lantry, Hayden and Flanagan join Maurice Mortell, Garry Connolly and Michelle Wallace on the DII board.
