Dillon Eustace has announced the appointment of Keith Robinson, a partner in the Firm’s Banking and Capital Markets team, as Managing Partner, with effect from 1 August 2026.

He succeeds Donnacha O’Connor, who, after six years, returns to full-time practice in the Firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds and Financial Regulation teams.

With more than 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international clients on complex financing and capital markets transactions, Robinson is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading finance lawyers.

His expertise spans portfolio acquisitions and sales, fund finance, real estate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, distressed asset transactions, structured finance and capital markets.

Before joining Dillon Eustace, Robinson worked in the banking department of two leading Irish law firms, the National Treasury Management Agency’s banking unit, where he advised the Irish Government on the recapitalisation of the Irish covered banks and the wider restructuring of the Irish banking sector, and in the United Arab Emirates, where, amongst other things, he advised the UAE Government on the recapitalisation of conventional and Islamic UAE banks, as well as on oil and gas project finance, development finance and acquisition finance transactions.

Welcoming the appointment, Donnacha O’Connor said: “I am delighted to congratulate Keith on his appointment as Managing Partner. Keith has played an important role in the success of the Firm over many years and has always demonstrated his determination, leadership and vision for the Firm.

“He takes over at a really exciting time, and I have no doubt that he will guide the Firm to continued success.”

Commenting on his appointment, Keith Robinson said: “It is a great honour to be appointed Managing Partner of Dillon Eustace to build on the Firm’s market leading position.

“I wish to thank Donnacha for his commitment and dedication and I am delighted that he will continue to play an important role in the Firm as he returns to full-time practice.
