Business Plus Talks has taken the show from the studio and onto the road in front of a live audience in Cork, with special guest Frank Brennan.
Following a breakfast event at The Dean Hotel in Cork, Dave Burke spoke to the entrepreneur about a career that took the 37-year-old across the world and back to Ireland.
The episode will be released on Wednesday morning (1st July).
Brennan is CEO of Republic of Work, a co-working space based in Cork.
Speaking about his role, he says he “leads a dynamic and innovative co-working space that supports entrepreneurs, startups, and remote workers in Cork and Tipperary.”
His CV includes roles as a personal trainer, clinic manager at the weight loss facility and CEO of National Esports Centre before joining Republic of Works as their first employee.
Earlier this year, Brennan acquired Republic of Work from its shareholders Dan and Linda Kiely and co-founder Dave Ronayne, after nine years with the company, and the hub now hosts 170 companies at South Mall in Cork.
Republic of Work was listed in the Financial Times’ top 50 list of Europe’s best start-up hubs last year, ranking top 10 in the UK & Ireland and second in Ireland.
The company recently announced a partnership with Scotland’s CodeBase called Celtic Link to help start-ups expand between Ireland and the UK with greater speed and lower cost.

In front of a live audience, Brennan chats to Burke about the highs and lows of his career, managing a young family while taking big risks and crafting his motivation and people skills through a diverse CV.
