The Guaranteed Irish Business Awards will return for their sixth year in March 2027, with a new award recognising Irish business leaders who have made an impact on international markets.
The awards will take place on Thursday, March 4, 2027, at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, with PTSB continuing as title sponsor for a sixth consecutive year.
The new CEO with International Impact Award will recognise leadership, ambition and achievement on the global stage. The award will be presented at the ceremony by broadcaster Oliver Callan.
Guaranteed Irish said the category had been introduced to reflect the organisation’s membership, which includes both homegrown and international businesses operating in Ireland.
Brid O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish, said the awards continued to recognise businesses and people making a contribution to the Irish economy.
“This year, we’re delighted to introduce a new award; the CEO with International Impact Award, recognising an outstanding CEO who has successfully led an Irish company on the international stage, strengthening its global reputation, competitiveness and long-term growth,” she said.
The Sustainability category has also been revised for this year’s awards, with updated criteria intended to reflect the importance of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations for businesses of different sizes and across sectors.
The awards will culminate in the Business of the Year Award, which was won by Insomnia Coffee at the 2026 ceremony.
Finalists and winners will be selected by an independent judging panel comprising industry representatives from organisations including An Post, ARI, PTSB, FBD and Viatel Technology.
All winners will also be invited to join the Guaranteed Irish CEO Alumni Network.
Patrick Farrell, chief retail banking officer at PTSB, said the awards recognised companies contributing to the wider economy and communities.
“At PTSB, we see at first-hand the vital role businesses play in supporting jobs, driving innovation and strengthening local communities, which is why we are proud to support these awards,” he said.
The awards have grown since their launch, with more than 400 guests expected to attend the 2027 event.

The ceremony will celebrate businesses across the Guaranteed Irish network, which comprises more than 2,500 members.
The organisation said the event will also provide an opportunity for member companies to network, develop business relationships and highlight the role of trusted Irish supply chains.
