From a recent tour of Cannes—where she was awarded the Trophée Chopard, which recognizes next-generation talent—and upcoming projects including psychological thriller Fonda and season two of I Love LA, Odessa A’zion has been busy. And today, the actor just added being the face of Crocs’ latest campaign, Wonderfully Unordinary, to her list.

When we hopped on the phone to discuss her recent inspirations, in style and in life, she excitedly dived into her experience attending Rosalía’s Lux tour, not once but twice. “As I went up to join her, I was so touched that she wanted me to be a part of her performance. I think she is a superstar. I think she’s an incredible talent.”

For those who have been keeping up with A’zion’s style evolution, the Crocs collaboration shouldn’t come as a surprise, as she has been wearing them since she was a child. “I still love the pink Crocs that I’ve worn since I was in elementary school.” The Classic Crafted Clog collection in particular blends function with understated design and pairs well with the actor’s fondness for extra baggy denim and oversized sweats.

“I always just want to be comfortable and wear whatever I need that I think might be in that moment,” she notes. “Accessories I never leave the house without? It used to be my septum ring, but I haven’t had it in for three months. I’ll throw some bobby pins and mini clamps in my bag just in case, and I will always have my rings.”

“I always have my camera on me. That’s something I genuinely don’t leave the house without. I have a Contax, an upgrade which I got recently. I got my first camera when I turned 18, then I got a new one with a different lens last year, and I like this one a lot more.”

“My version of unwinding is just doing house chores, organizing shit, and running around. I have genuinely always been a Crocs girl, so I will be wearing those doing any task, whether it be lounging, or winding down, watching something.”

“My go-to work bag is one of my best friend’s wedding gifts to all of our close friends and family. It was this giant bag with their initials on it. Since then, I’ve been using it, throwing all of my stuff in it. It’s so reliable. And that’s kind of cute because I always have them with me.”

“I lather myself in coconut oil. I swear to God, it’s the best thing for your skin. Unrefined, organic coconut oil, put it on with your skin while a little damp. It just absorbs everything.”
