Lily Collins Stuns in Unexpected Color Clash on the Set of Emily in Paris – Here’s Why Everyone’s Talking About It!
So, here’s a little curveball for all the Emily in Paris fans out there: Emily isn’t exactly sipping café au lait by the Seine this season. Nope — she’s taken a detour straight to the high-speed glamour of Monte-Carlo, cruising through the F1 Grand Prix like it’s just another day in the life. Now, if you’re wondering how our beloved fashion maven trades her Parisian flair for racing vibes, let me just say she’s still serving maximalist magic — think fluorescent chartreuse blazers and purple pumps that scream confidence. It’s like she’s not just chasing dreams but revving them up full throttle. Is this the boldest Emily yet? And while it’s bittersweet because this whirlwind is part of the final lap—the sixth and final season is upon us—one thing’s for sure: Emily’s style is still lessons-in-yourself in motion. Curious to see how it all unfolds on the track? LEARN MORE
It seems Emily is spending some time away from Paris this season. To film a scene for the sixth and final installment of Emily in Paris, star Lily Collins stopped by Monte-Carlo yesterday to capture some shots amidst the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco.
Thanks to the work of costume designer Marylin Fitoussi, who has been directing the show’s fashion since season one (with the help of Sex and the City’s Patricia Field, who consulted on the first two installments), we’ve come to expect a maximalist, colorful aesthetic from our titular character.
Clearly, Emily hasn’t lost of her sense of sartorial whimsy. And if this latest look is any indication, she’s also tapping into some of the hottest trends of the moment.
As chartreuse continues popping up on the runways, and in celebrity street style, Collins’s character is embracing the hue with gusto. At the racing venue, she was seen wearing a fluorescent, double-breasted blazer with peak lapels and an hourglass silhouette, which was layered over a matching top and shorts.
For an extra pop of color, Collins also wore a pair of bright-purple pumps from Roger Vivier, while her bag was a kaleidoscopic combination of the two. All across the foldover clutch, prints of purple flowers were interspersed with chartreuse patterns for an eye-popping result. Later, she also popped on a racing helmet, presumably to enjoy a few spins around the track.
Back in May, Netflix revealed that the forthcoming season of Emily in Paris will be the last.
“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime,” creator and showrunner Darren Starr said in a statement. “As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris!”
