For the Practical Magic 2 press tour, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are taking their own approaches on the red carpet. Like the witchy Owens sisters they play on screen, these two actors have unique personal styles, after all, and they seem to be leaning away from the “method dressing” craze that’s dominated press tours over the past few years.
For instance, instead of wearing matching black dresses (or tall hats and broomsticks), the two Oscar-winning stars turned to French fashion houses as they celebrated the London premiere of their new fantasy sequel at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square theater this evening.
Bullock brought a bit of jungle energy in a leopard-print dress from the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The eye-popping design featured a large bow detail along the skirt, where the material was used to tie a large knot, leaving a high slit along one of Bullock’s legs.
She completed the look with a set of black T-bar heels and a few gold pendant necklaces. Meanwhile, her hair hung down in soft, middle-parted waves.
As for Kidman, she took an entirely different approach, in a sequined pearlescent dress, custom-made by Chanel. Like Bullock’s design, her dress featured a strapless bodice and a slit up one of the legs, but the similarities ended there.
The sparkly piece was coated entirely in sequin paillettes, and it featured strands of gold chains, decorated with pearls, hanging along the bust. To match the hardware, Kidman wore strappy gold sandal heels, and dangly gold earrings. Finally, her hair hung down in straight strands, with a few wispy bangs in front.
Even without more on-the-nose outfits, these two leading ladies are still bringing plenty of red-carpet magic. Practical Magic 2 hits theaters on September 10.
