We’re talking about some pretty once-in-every-two-centuries kind of savings here, and it’s not just REI’s in-house brand. Patagonia, Vuori, Brooks, and On are all seeing sizeable discounts. REI is offering an extra 50 percent off clearance items and slashing prices on cycling gear, packs, knives, and multi-tools.

The Best REI Fourth of July Deals
You might not typically equate the outdoor-centric REI with athleisure, but it has plenty of Vuori on sale during its Fourth sale. The Strato Tech Tee remains one of our favorite workout shirts (and t-shirts for men, in general), and it’s now 20 percent off and available in plenty of sizes. It’s stretchy, moisture-wicking, and form-fitting without sacrificing comfort. Vuori’s best-selling Ponto Performance Pants are also now half off, and its versatile Ponto Shorts are a mind-boggling 71 percent off.
One of Patagonia’s best-selling sustainable tees, the Strataspire Responsibili-Tee, is a rare 40 percent off, and its rugged yet sleek Outdoor Everyday Marsupial Jacket is half price. Last year’s version of our favorite walking shoe, the Brooks Ghost 17, is almost 30 percent off. And another editor-tested favorite, the On Cloudsurfer 2 Road-Running Shoes, follows suit. If you’re looking for something a little more durable and waterproof to hit the trails, the previous model Arc’teryx Sylan GTX Trail-Running Shoes are over 30 percent off for a limited time.
Some of our other favorite deals include 40 percent off the Flexlite Camp Boss Chair from REI Co-op, over $200 off the editor-tested Garmin Fenix 8, and 25 percent off Smartwool’s lightweight, hardworking Mountain Range Crew Socks. We don’t expect these items to last long, so your best bet is getting your picks in well before Independence Day is here.
