Fans of Boys of Tommen, listen up: Chloe Walsh has confirmed that more books are coming, and the internet is buzzing. The wildly popular series—parts swoony romance, emotional healing and rugby drama—has built a devoted TikTok following since its first release. But while fans have their theories about the next book, Walsh’s own hints suggest they might want to think again. Here’s everything we know so far.
First, what is ‘Boys of Tommen’ about?
Boys of Tommen is a coming-of-age romance series that follows a group of friends at Tommen College in Cork, Ireland. There are six books in the series, and you can view the titles—which contain each boy’s jersey number—as well as the narrators below.
- Binding 13 – Narrated by Shannon Lynch and Johnny Kavanagh
- Keeping 13 – Narrated by Shannon Lynch and Johnny Kavanagh
- Saving 6 – Narrated by Joey Lynch and Aoife Molloy

- Redeeming 6 – Narrated by Joey Lynch and Aoife Molloy
- Taming 7 – Narrated by Claire Biggs and Gerard “Gibsie” Gibson
- Releasing 10 – Narrated by Lizzie Young and Hugh “Hughie” Biggs
Is there going to be a new ‘Boys of Tommen’ book?
Yes, there will be a seventh Boys of Tommen book. Some readers believe that it’s going to be called Healing 7, based on what they claim was a now-deleted Spotify playlist made by Walsh. The theory is that it would focus on Claire and Gisbie, since his jersey number is 7, but that hasn’t been confirmed by Walsh or her team.
Also as part of those supposed Spotify playlists, readers claim there are there were five other books—Claiming 10, Feeling 12, Trusting 12, Adoring 13 and Runaway 15—meaning we would get more of Lizzie and Hugh’s story as well as Katie Wilmot and Patrick “Feely” Desmond’s story and more Johnny and Shannon—but again none of that has been confirmed by Walsh.
On social media, most fans say they want Claire and Gibsie or Lizzie and Hugh to be the focus of the next book. Claire and Gibsie’s story took a dramatic turn in Taming 7, leaving fans eager to see where they end up. Meanwhile, Releasing 10 left Lizzie and Hugh on the verge of a new chapter together, following a childhood friendship shaped by Lizzie’s difficult home life.
Based on past books, it makes sense that Lizzie and Hugh’s book would be next since the first four books were couples’ tales told in twos. But Walsh has only said the new books will come in an order no one will expect.
“Because the earlier books in the Tommen series centered around the Lynch family, their duets were released in order; however, from book five onward, the order in which the books release will rotate between characters in line with the ongoing storyline,” Walsh wrote in the Releasing 10 intro, which was published in May of 2025. “Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure.”

Another thing Walsh and her team have confirmed is that the author is going full speed ahead on the new Amazon Prime TV show, Boys of Tommen, which releases in 2027.
“I know you are waiting on book news, but there is no release date to share at this time. Chloe is going to take all the time she needs–the series deserves it,” her friend L, who runs Walsh’s social media, wrote on Instagram in May of this year.
In that same post, Walsh’s team commented on the harassment and bullying the author and the TV show cast and crew have received for their casting decisions or for how long the book series was taking.
“I’d like to remind you all what this series is all about. Healing, hope, and the people who show up for you when life gets hard,” L wrote. “These books were written to shine a light on the darkest of experiences. Not to inspire cruelty. The actors stepping into these roles are real people who deserve kindness. So please, be the fandom these books deserve.”
When will the next ‘Boys of Tommen’ book be released?
As of publication, the next Boys of Tommen book doesn’t have a release date.
