There’s only so much we can discover about a celebrity’s beauty routine from a TikTok or Instagram post—especially their signature scent. But if you’ve ever wondered what Hailey Bieber smells like, she has previously shared her favorite perfume.
In an interview with Scentbird, the Rhode founder shared that Ex Nihilo’s Fleur Narcotique Eau de Parfum is always in her fragrance wardrobe, and we’re running to get our hands on it.
“I like to play around with scents, but the one that I am always going back to is the Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique,” she says in the interview. “That’s the scent that I’ve actually been wearing for a few years, and I find myself always going back to that one.”
The scent, created by French perfumer Quentin Bisch, is a musky, fruity, and floral juice and has quickly become one of the brand’s best-selling fragrances. At the top is citrusy bergamot, plus juicy lychee and peach; then, you’re hit with floral orange blossom and jasmine; lastly, a wave of soft musks, woods, and green moss mellows out the fruits and florals. The overall juice evokes the feeling of walking around Paris in a linen set on a breezy summer day. The variety of notes makes it the perfect seasonal scent for those who are typically averse to floral or fruity-forward scents, since the airy woods and earthy essence balance out the stronger notes.
While Bieber is a fan of the eau de parfum, the brand has an even stronger iteration of the juice in extrait form that doubles down on florals, adding creamy freesia and osmanthus. Or, make the scent last even longer by layering one of the brand’s Fleur Narcotique–fragranced hand or body creams underneath the parfum.
Bieber does seem to dabble in scents and told Bazaar she is a fan of YSL Beauty’s Libre Flowers & Flames, but Fleur Narcotique seems to be one she always keeps in her rotation. Every beauty formula or trend Bieber touches turns to gold, so if this fragrance suddenly sells out, we know why.
