Session Details

Session 1: Thinking Like a CEO

Being a great practitioner and building a strong business require two different ways of thinking. You need both.

You were trained to think like a practitioner.

Listen to the client. Understand the problem. Look for root causes. Make recommendations based on what will best serve the person sitting in front of you.

But when you own a practice, you’re responsible for something else, too:

The health of the business.

And sometimes those two roles will pull you in different directions.

You may love an offer that no one is buying. You may keep a service because you’re passionate about it even though it isn’t profitable. You may avoid a marketing strategy because it makes you uncomfortable. Or spend months perfecting an idea instead of putting it into the market and finding out whether anyone wants it.

That’s where CEO thinking comes in.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to step out of practitioner thinking when necessary and evaluate your business like a business owner.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Define the role you want your business to play in your life, so you have a filter for making decisions.
  • Separate facts and data from the emotions that can drive business decisions.
  • Make decisions faster, test ideas, evaluate the results, and adjust instead of waiting for everything to be perfect.
  • Use failure as information instead of proof that something has gone wrong.
  • Stay focused on one goal long enough to know whether it’s working.
  • Recognize when practitioner passion and business reality are in conflict.
  • Start thinking about your time, money, profitability, and resources like a CEO.

Your practitioner brain asks:
How can I best serve this client?

Your CEO brain asks:
What does this business need in order to work?

A sustainable practice needs you to be able to answer both.

Session 2: Niche, Positioning & Differentiation

If your potential clients can’t quickly understand who you help, what you help with, and why they should choose you, they’ll keep looking.

You may be qualified to help with a long list of health concerns. But trying to communicate all of that at once can make it harder for potential clients to understand what you do.

When someone lands on your website, reads a post, or hears you talk about your practice, they shouldn’t have to figure out whether you’re for them.

They should be able to see themselves in your message.

That requires getting specific. Who are you talking to? What problem are they trying to solve? What do they want their life to look like on the other side of that problem? And why should they choose you?

Strong positioning isn’t about putting yourself into a tiny box. It’s about making it easy for the right person to recognize that you understand what they’re experiencing and have a clear way to help.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to get clear about who you’re talking to, simplify your message, and communicate what makes your practice different.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Get specific about the type of client you want to serve.
  • Identify the problem your ideal client is looking to solve.
  • Understand what your clients want beyond improving a diagnosis or symptom.
  • Simplify your message instead of trying to explain everything you know.
  • Position your services so the right person can quickly understand, “This is for me.”
  • Identify what makes you different in a crowded health and wellness market.
  • Bring your personality, values, and point of view into your marketing instead of sounding like every other practitioner.
  • Create clearer positioning that helps potential clients decide whether you’re the right fit.

You don’t need everyone to choose you.

You want the right person to see your work and think:

“That’s exactly what I’ve been dealing with. This person understands me.”

That’s what strong positioning does.

Session 3: Build Your Marketing Strategy

You don’t need to market everywhere. You need to know who you’re trying to reach, where to find them, and what you’re going to say when you get there.

Where should I market? Do I need to be on social media? Should I have an email list? What about networking, partnerships, speaking, ads, or funnels?

There are dozens of ways to market a practice. Trying to do all of them usually creates more work, not more clients.

A strong marketing strategy starts with your client.

Where are they already spending their time? How are they looking for help? What matters to them? And what message will make them stop and pay attention?

Then you choose a strategy you can execute consistently, give it enough time to work, and use the results to decide what to do next.

Marketing also requires visibility. You can be an excellent practitioner, but if the people who need your services don’t know you exist, they can’t choose to work with you.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to build a focused marketing strategy instead of jumping from one tactic to another and hoping something sticks.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify where your ideal clients are and choose marketing channels based on their behavior, not simply where you feel most comfortable.
  • Get clear on the message and value you’re taking to the market.
  • Choose one primary message and repeat it consistently instead of constantly creating something new.
  • Understand the different ways you can market, including social media, email, networking, partnerships, speaking, trainings, referrals, and paid advertising.
  • Focus your time and energy instead of trying to market everywhere at once.
  • Evaluate what’s working, refine what’s not, and make better marketing decisions based on results.
  • Understand why visibility is part of running a business, even when being visible feels uncomfortable.
  • Know what you need to understand about your own marketing before you’re ready to hand it off to someone else.

Good marketing isn’t about doing more. It’s about getting the right message in front of the right people, consistently enough for them to know who you are, understand how you can help, and trust you enough to take the next step.

Session 4: Sell Without Feeling Salesy

If you believe selling means convincing, pressuring, or talking someone into working with you, of course you’re going to hate it.

For many practitioners, sales is one of the most uncomfortable parts of owning a business.

What do I say? How do I explain what I offer? What if they say no? How do I talk about the price? How do I sell without sounding pushy?

But a strong sales conversation isn’t about convincing someone to buy.

It’s about listening well enough to understand what they need, why it matters to them, and whether you’re the right person to help.

Your mindset matters, too. If you feel uncomfortable talking about your offer, unsure of its value, or embarrassed to ask someone to pay you, that shows up in the conversation. You can have the perfect sales script and still struggle to sell if you don’t believe in what you’re offering.

Selling requires both the mindset and the skill set.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to approach sales with more confidence, have better conversations with potential clients, and sell your services without becoming someone you’re not.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify the beliefs about selling that may be affecting how you show up in sales conversations.
  • Build confidence in talking about your services and the value you provide.
  • Use open-ended questions to create better conversations instead of jumping straight into explaining what you do.
  • Practice deep listening so you can hear what a potential client is saying and what they may not be saying.
  • Reflect back what you’ve heard so clients feel understood.
  • Uncover the deeper reason someone is seeking help and what they want their health to make possible in their life.
  • Connect what the client wants with the way your services can help.
  • Stop selling the diagnosis or protocol and communicate the value of the outcome your client wants.
  • Let the potential client make their own decision without pressure, convincing, or chasing.

You don’t need to become a salesperson. You need to become better at helping people make an informed decision about whether working with you is right for them.

Session 5: Growth & Client Retention

Getting a new client takes time, money, and effort. But what happens to the clients who already know you, trust you, and have experienced the value of your work?

Many practitioners follow the same business cycle.

Find a client. Take them through a protocol. Help them feel better. Finish the work. Then go find another new client.

And repeat.

But your existing clients may still need support. Their needs may change. They may struggle to maintain what they’ve learned. They may want accountability, deeper work, or help reaching a new goal.

Growth doesn’t always mean finding more people. Sometimes it means finding better ways to continue serving the people already in your business.

The key is learning how to listen.

What are your clients struggling with after they finish working with you? Where do they tend to fall off? What are they asking for? What do they need next?

Those answers can become some of your best ideas for new offers, programs, and recurring revenue.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to use what you’re already learning from your clients to improve retention, create next-level offers, and grow your practice without constantly starting over with a new audience.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize opportunities to continue serving clients after their initial work with you is complete.
  • Listen for patterns in what clients struggle with, ask for, or need next.
  • Turn those patterns into offers that solve a clear problem.
  • Explore different ways to support existing clients, including maintenance programs, accountability, group coaching, challenges, seasonal programs, and ongoing support.
  • Think beyond one-time services and begin creating a longer client journey.
  • Understand why selling to people who already know and trust you can be easier and less expensive than constantly finding new clients.
  • Work through the discomfort of offering clients another way to work with you.

Rachel will also share how she used years of client experience to identify what people needed after their initial nutrition work and built SHED, a three-month group program that grew to approximately $350,000 in annual revenue, followed by another continuity offer for clients who wanted to go deeper.

Your existing clients aren’t just people you’ve already served. They can also show you what your business should build next.
