The Uniqlo Ultra Stretch AIRism Dress is smooth, polished, and super easy to style in a variety of ways for a single trip—meaning I can wear it multiple times without anyone clocking a repeat outfit. And for long flights where you’ll be hitting the ground running in a warm climate, it’s great to wear on the plane.

IMO, the fabric is where this dress really shines. The brand’s AIRism material (made from 100% polyester) is lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying with a soft, stretchy feel that moves with me. Whether I’m dealing with humid temps or long travel days, it keeps things cool and comfortable without clinging.

It also has an easy, flattering fit-and-flare shape that’s tighter through the bust and subtly flares out toward the legs, creating a flowy drape that I especially love when walking (it moves beautifully). The midi length hits at about mid-calf, striking that sweet spot between casual and dressy, so you can dress it up or down without overthinking it. I wore this dress to Barcelona during a warm September, and the breathable material and loose fit made it a major win.

This dress also packs down incredibly well, and any wrinkles from being in a backpack or suitcase shake out quickly before heading out the door. Plus, it has pockets! A huge win for travel days when you want to easily stash your phone, sunnies, or room key. The only downside: it’s unlined, so the white version is slightly sheer. But that also adds to its airy feel, and there are plenty of other color options if you want more coverage.
