Blanchardstown Centre and managing agent Savills have agreed a three-year deal for integrated facilities services with OCS Ireland.
Under the agreement, OCS will provide security and cleaning services at the west Dublin shopping centre.
OCS will offer a full static guarding service across the property, including regular patrols, CCTV monitoring and customer assistance as well as cleaning and hygiene services throughout the buildings and its external car parks.
It will also introduce a Blanchardstown-specific training framework, so that frontline staff are visible, approachable and consistent.
Service performance will be reported in a transparent manner to give Savills and centre management real-time visibility.
“We are proud to partner with Savills and Blanchardstown Centre at such an iconic Irish destination,” said Aine Mulcahy, managing director at OCS.
“This is far more than a security and cleaning contract; it is a shared vision to make Blanchardstown Ireland’s premier retail destination, delivering an outstanding, safe and welcoming experience for the millions of people who visit each year.
“This partnership is our purpose in action; making people and places the best they can be.”
Iain Finlayson, centre director at Blanchardstown Centre, described the deal as “an important investment in the future of Blanchardstown Centre.
“Our ambition is not simply to maintain our position, but to continually raise the standard for retail and leisure destinations in Ireland,” he added.

“Achieving that requires trusted partners who share our commitment to operational excellence, innovation and delivering exceptional experiences. I am delighted to welcome OCS and look forward to working together to realise that ambition.”
Blanchardstown Centre has more than 180 stores and around 5,500 car parking spaces while OCS has more than 4,000 employees in Ireland.
