Equal1 has announced the appointment of Donagh Buckley as VP Head of Product and Strategic Partnerships, leading the quantum computer firm’s product vision, strategy and execution as it scales its RacQ server technology into global markets. 

Buckley brings extensive international experience spanning product leadership, technology strategy, and enterprise transformation.

He previously held senior roles at Dell and EMC, where he served as Head of Product Innovation for the Telecommunications division and led the European Chief Technology Office.  

Buckley also served as Senior Director of Strategy at Dell, where he led market research and developed enterprise-wide technology strategies for the company’s data management portfolio.

Buckley began his career as a software engineer at Intel, before progressing into leadership roles managing IT and engineering functions at HP and Motorola. 

Commenting on his appointment, Buckley said: “I am delighted to join Equal1 at such an exciting stage in the company.

“The opportunity to define how Equal1’s quantum technology reaches industry, and the impact it unlocks when it does, is incredibly compelling.”
