Joe Csibi, head of orchestra and chorus at the National Concert Hall, will guest on the next episode of Business Plus Talks, in association with Philip Lee.
The podcast hosted by Dave Burke, is usually reserved for in-depth conversations with business leaders and entrepreneurs, but Csibi will provide something a little different.
In his role with the NCH, Csibi provides both strategic and artistic leadership for all orchestra and choir activities, and he has specific responsibility for their artistic vision, business and financial management.
During his more than 30-year career, Csibi has worked as professional musician orchestrator, composer, educator, creative producers and musical director in addition to orchestral management.
He has worked with organisations including Wexford Festival Opera, Windmill Lane Studios, Wide Open Opera, Lyric Opera, Riverdance, MCD and Aiken Promotions.
Prior to joining NCH, he spent five years as general manager of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, during which he oversaw performances in venues all over Ireland, recordings, educational projects and orchestral performance for radio, television and online.
He also created bespoke orchestra projects working with Irish and international conductors, artists, composers and partners.
