Why Useless Coin’s Explosive 36% Rally and 5K New Holders Could Rewrite Memecoin History Overnight

Ever wonder how a seemingly “useless” asset can suddenly become the belle of the blockchain ball? Well, Useless Coin [USELESS] just waltzed past all its 2026 losses and is eyeing those October 2025 price territories like they’re prime real estate. What sparked this unexpected comeback, you ask? A buzzworthy hint of a potential airdrop ignited fresh chatter, sending the token on a lift-off from $0.067 to a peak of $0.094—and just days later, it hurdled the $0.13 resistance barrier, touching $0.158. Now, that’s not a level we’ve seen since November 2025. With a robust 36% daily surge and its market cap soaring beyond $150 million, USELESS is turning heads even as overall trading volume takes a little breather. Useless Coin [USELESS] cleared all 2026 losses and  is on the verge of reaching October 2025 levels. The memecoin saw renewed interest three days ago as social chatter pointed to a potential airdrop.

As a result, the token rose from $0.067 to a high of $0.094. This bullish momentum extended, and on the 3rd of September, the memecoin cleared $0.13 resistance and rose to $0.158.

Useless Coin has not reached these levels since November 2025. As of this writing, it traded around $0.149, marking a 36% surge on the daily charts.

At the same time, the memecoin’s market cap surged 36% and breached the $100 million mark, hitting $150 million. However, market activity has reduced significantly, with the trading volume falling 18% to $78 million.

USELESS adds 5k holders

During the current period of extended market weakness, memecoins have seen their usage shrink. In fact, X account signalcalls observed that most established memecoins now look poor at the moment.

However, the analyst noted that USELESS has outpaced them all, with 5,000 holders added over the past seven days.

The rising volume and number of holders suggest that while market attention is rotating, USELESS is absorbing it. Usually, a rising number of users not only expands the base but also boosts demand for the token.

The memecoin’s demand is on the rise too

Importantly, most of these holders are turning to buyers. Sell-side activity has largely dried up on USELESS Coin. Fish or small wallet retail netflow has continued to rise, indicating intense buy pressure.

Skmakeit reported the same pattern when for whales suggesting both whales are retail are accumulating. The Spot Buy/Sell Volume validates this view.

Spot Buy/Sell delta has remained positive for three consecutive days. Over this period, the memecoin saw 115 million in buy volume on Kraken and Coinbase compared to 106 million in sell volume.

What’s next?

A look at the momentum indicators, Useless Coin is experiencing strong upward pressure. For starters, the positive index of ADX climbed to 46, while ADX rose to 48.

At the same time, the D- fell to 4. When ADX and +DI rise while DI- declines, it suggests that the bullish pressure is stronger. Likewise, the Stochastic Momentum Index (SMI) also jumped to 67, further confirming this bullish trend.

Taken together, the two indicators point to the current trend continuation. Therefore, if buying momentum holds, USELESS will target $0.18 resistance.

However, if the momentum slows down and fails to close above $0.15, the memecoin will drop to $0.12.

Final Summary

  • Useless Coin surged 36% to hit a 10-month high of $0.158 before slightly retracing to $0.149.
  • USELESS added 5k holders in 7 days as demand for the memecoin saw renewed market interest.
