Spring is finally here, so there couldn’t be a better time to embrace citrus dressing, and Carey Mulligan just found the perfect look to do it.
On Wednesday evening, the English actor hit the red carpet at the Regal Union Square in New York, for a screening of Beef season two. In the latest installment of the Emmy-winning Netflix series, Mulligan joins the cast as Lindsay Crane-Martín, a wealthy socialite who is in a volatile marriage with a country club manager (played by Oscar Isaac).
While her style on the show is very flouncy and feminine, Mulligan went for something a little more minimalist on the red carpet, thanks to the help of her stylist, Danielle Goldberg.
For the screening, the BAFTA winner chose a tangerine set, pulled straight from the Colleen Allen Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
The ensemble consisted of a velvet, crew-neck top in persimmon, with silky scalloped trim along the cuffs, neckline, and bottom hem in a slightly lighter hue.
Down low, the skirt was made of the same silky material as the trim, and it formed a stark, streamlined combination.
For accessories, Mulligan was styled in a pair of strappy sandal heels in metallic gold from Gianvito Rossi, as well as dainty stud earrings from Briony Raymond. As for her beauty, she went for a soft, subtle face of makeup, while tying her hair up into a bun with loose strands left hanging down to create curtain bangs.
With only a few collections under her belt, Allen has proven herself to be one of the most-thrilling rising designers in New York, grabbing the attention of stars like Lily Allen and Greta Lee. Now, we can add Mulligan to that fan club too.
