How I’m Quietly Turning 4 Rental Properties into a Passive Income Goldmine While Crushing My 9-5 Grind
Tony:
Mike, I feel like we hear bookkeeping is the pain point for so many new investors. And I know for me even early on that was the thing that I hated the most about real estate investing was just managing the books. And we used ESA when we first started just going into ESA and tagging everything and it was like the most mundane part of real estate investing for me. But as I’ve matured as a real estate investor, I think I’ve grown to really appreciate good bookkeeping because you really start to be able to see trends in your business and you can start to really identify, hold on, something’s not right there. And as you build more discipline around reviewing your p and ls, you can start to see like, man, something’s off. And I’ll give you guys a prime example. I was reviewing my p and ls, I think it was last month, maybe the month before, and I noticed it for one of our properties.
