Between a Knicks game, the Toy Story 5 premiere, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala, Taylor Swift has been keeping herself booked and busy this week. But last night, she got to sit back and relax in the comfort of New York City’s Lyceum Theatre. And she picked an equally as cozy dress for the evening.
Accompanied by her fiancé, Travis Kelce, Swift attended a production of Broadway’s Oh, Mary!, starring Maya Rudolph as Mary Todd Lincoln. In photos taken backstage, the artist can be seen wearing a burgundy scoop-neck dress from Ralph Lauren that, despite the summer heat, was crafted from a rich velvet fabric. But given its loose tank-style fit and the fact that it would match the classic plush theater seats and decadent soaring curtains, it was certainly an appropriate pick for a night out to Broadway.
Swift wore the piece with Aquazzura’s Lovestruck Sandal, gold heels with embellishments across the straps. As for jewelry, she layered her FoundRae letter charm with a long necklace from Michael Anthony Jewelers, featuring a moon goddess pendant. She added her vintage opal bracelet from Danes Road Antiques for a final touch.
Next to her, Kelce wore one of his classic patterned shirts—this time a black linen Valentino bowling shirt with a red floral print. He matched the petals to his vintage-style cap, a red pinstripe piece from Elmwood.
After the show, the couple headed backstage to speak with Rudolph, director Sam Pinkleton, and additional cast members Cheyenne Jackson, Martin Landry, Bianca Leigh, and Phillip James Brannon.
