Digital Business Ireland (DBI) has announced a partnership with Temu to support its members’ online growth.

Temu will participate in events, policy discussions and industry initiatives with DBI’s network of 8,000 businesses in Ireland.

DBI said the partnership will bring together ideas and expertise from across the digital ecosystem, creating opportunities to share insights, celebrate success and contribute to discussions on e-commerce, digital growth and the evolving needs of businesses operating online.

“Having Temu part of the DBI community reflects our ability to attract some of the world’s biggest digital companies to our network,” said DP Fitzgerald of DBI.

“Our focus is on turning those connections into opportunities for Irish businesses: sharing expertise, opening routes to new customers and tackling barriers to online growth.

“We look forward to working with Temu to help more Irish enterprises realise their digital ambitions.”

The announcement comes as Temu expands its engagement with business organisations across Europe and continues to grow its presence in Ireland.

Temu launched in Ireland in 2023 and opened its platform to Irish sellers through its Local Seller Programme last year.

“We want more small businesses in Ireland to benefit from the opportunities that e-commerce creates,” a Temu spokesperson said.
