BMW Ireland has named All Real Nutrition and Bánór as the winners of its 2026 BMW Future Entrepreneur Competition, recognising two Irish businesses for their innovation, sustainability credentials and growth potential.

The competition, which returned for a second year following its launch in 2025, is run in partnership with Enterprise Ireland and aims to support emerging Irish businesses.

This year’s judging panel also included entrepreneur Jennifer Rock, founder and CEO of Skingredients.

The winners were announced at a networking event hosted at Cliff at Lyons in Co Kildare, where ten shortlisted finalists met with business leaders, BMW representatives and competition partners.

All Real Nutrition secured the Innovation Award for its range of protein bars made from natural ingredients and designed to offer consumers healthier, convenient nutrition options.

Founded by Niall Harty and Ross McDowell, the company has positioned itself as a challenger brand within the growing health and wellness sector.

The Sustainability Award went to Bánór, an Irish skincare company founded by farmer Elaine Crosse and pharmacist Nicola Lyons.

The business develops sheep’s milk and lanolin-based skincare products inspired by the Irish landscape and agricultural heritage.

Having reached the final of the competition last year, the founders returned in 2026 to claim the top sustainability prize.

Helen Westby, Managing Director of BMW Ireland, said the standard of entries demonstrated the strength of Ireland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“The calibre of applications this year was exceptionally high, and selecting our winners was no easy task,” she said.

“We were incredibly impressed by the ambition, creativity and resilience demonstrated by all ten shortlisted businesses. All Real Nutrition and Bánór stood out for their clear vision, innovative thinking and commitment to building purpose-led businesses with strong potential for future growth.”

As part of their prize package, both companies will receive the use of a branded fully electric BMW vehicle, mentoring support and a brand development package that includes professional photography, media exposure and promotion across BMW Ireland’s marketing channels.

Enterprise Ireland’s Sarah Walker said both winners demonstrated a strong understanding of their target markets and clear ambitions for growth.

“What stood out about both All Real Nutrition and Bánór was their clear understanding of their customer, strong sense of purpose and ambition for future growth,” she said.

The competition also showcased a diverse group of finalists spanning sectors including sustainable consumer products, fashion, hospitality, wellness and artificial intelligence.
